When you set up an online invoice in Xero, there is now a function for you to request a deposit from your customer. If you have Stripe connected to your subscription, you can request and accept a deposit before you start work. This locks in cash flow, can cover upfront costs, and keep business moving.
The deposit can be a percentage of the invoice total, or a specific amount. The online invoice shows a breakdown of what is due now and what is due later, so there are no surprises for your customer. Talk to your Walker Wayland team member if you would like to know more. |
