Everyone seems to be enjoying the FIFA Women’s World Cup and even though NZ are now out of the competition they did well to win the game against Norway & draw with Switzerland. Everyone who has been to any of the games at the “Cake Tin” have had an awesome time. The All Blacks have started the year well so lets hope it continues through to the end of their World Cup campaign.

We are piling through the work and making good progress with some jobs but that may slow a bit over the next few weeks and then we will ramp it up again. The reason that it may slow is that Maurice is away to tick something off his bucket list which is to play at the home of golf – St Andrews in Scotland. This was supposed to happen in 2020 but of course Covid ruined that so now it’s time for him to go and use all the travel credits and do it. Bad timing, we know but we have things in place so everything will carry on as usual. For Maurice it will be a working holiday as he will still be working while away attending to emails and making sure work is still being done, he will just be doing it in a different time zone.

So, for sign off of your financial statements & income tax returns we are going to schedule Zoom meetings with you. We will email you a copy of your information and Maurice will have a copy of it too. Maurice will set up the Zoom meeting and invite you in to go through the financials & tax returns with you and answer any questions you may have. That way we can get your tax refunds processed or more importantly you will know what your tax position is. We are sure that this will work for most of you, it will just mean some late nights or early mornings for Maurice!
