We are pleased to report that several 2023 Annual reports have already been sent to the auditors, and we are working hard on completing the remainder of our schools by the deadline of 31 March.

If we require any additional information from you, we will contact you. To avoid any delays, it would be appreciated if you could provide us with the requested information as soon as possible.

IMPORTANT NOTICES

2024 Confirmed Staffing:

The confirmed rolls and staffing entitlements will be published on Pourato on 28 March 2024. 

Please refer to the Secure Data Portal on 3 April for a letter if your school will be staffed on its provisional roll in 2024.

Banking Staffing Final Balance:

Banking staffing final balance letters will be available in the Secure Data Portal on 29 April 2024. These letters will advise your school whether you have a nil balance, underuse, or overuse balance for the end of the year and provide next steps if needed. For any under or overuse, the calculated reimbursement or recovery amount will be included in your July Operational Grant payment.

Estimated Pay Equity and Collective Agreement Funding 1- April 2024:

On 1 April 2024, your school will receive the next instalment of estimated funding for non-teaching pay equity settlements and collective agreements. 

There will also be a letter in the Secure Data Portal on 27 March 2024 outlining the breakdown of this funding. Can you please download this letter and upload it to the 2024 MOE Grants folder in Google Drive

BANKING REMINDER - ACCESSING HIGHER INTEREST RATES

As you will soon receive the April operational grant payment, we'd like to remind you that if you have any extra funds sitting in your school's current account that are not required in the short term, it is a good idea to transfer the funds to your Savings or Call account in order to benefit from the higher interest rates that are now available.

And if you have funds that will not be required for more than a month or two, you could also consider putting these on term deposit to earn even higher interest. If you're banking with ASB, keep an eye on your inbox as they release special term deposit interest rates at this time.

WRPPA CONFERENCE 2024: 4-5 APRIL 2024 TAKINA CONVENTION AND EXHIBITION CENTRE

XERO TIP OF THE MONTH: HOW TO CUSTOMISE YOUR DASHBOARD IN XERO

Did you know you can customise your Xero Dashboard? With the 'Edit Dashboard' feature, you can easily rearrange or remove irrelevant tiles.

To edit the tiles on the Dashboard, click ‘Edit Dashboard’ in the top right corner. From there, drag items to your preferred position or select “Hide” or “Show” to adjust visibility.

In addition to this, you can also reorder your school's bank accounts so that the ones you use the most are at the top. To do this go to  'Accounting' - 'Bank Accounts' and use the arrows on the bottom right hand corner to move the accounts up and down.
