Makes Cents Newsletter December 2023

Is it organised chaos or carnage week?  Probably for a lot of us both, and that goes for work and home.  Trying to get the last-minute jobs done at work, and at home last minute jobs before family arrive, and of course be ready for Santa.  Remember at this time of the year think about yourselves a bit.  Being in business is hard work a lot of time with all the hours and effort you put in, and sometimes it is lonely, and you start questioning the decisions you have made.  It is a good time to recharge the batteries with family and friends around and forget about work for a few days.

Office Closed from 12 noon Wednesday 21 December 2023

The office will be closed from 12pm Wednesday 21st of December 2023 and we will be open again at 9am Monday 15th of January 2023.  We are all going to have a good break so that we turn up in the New Year refreshed and ready to go.  Maurice is starting back on the 3rd January 2024 and the best way to contact him will be by email maurice@makescents.co.nz as he will be in the Masterton office most days.

New Year - New Beginnings & New Office

We can now announce that we have found a new home for Make$ Cents Accounting and hopefully at the end of January we will be at 133 Main Street Upper Hutt, right next to the ANZ Bank so plenty of parking in behind.  We have had some designs done and the building is presently being fitted out to meet our requirements.  We will have a bigger boardroom / meeting room and we are installing the latest technology.  Here is a sneak peek at the progress to date.
