| The default min KiwiSaver contribution rate (employee & employer) increases from 3% to 3.5% for pay periods with a pay date on or after 1 April 2026 |
| IRD NUMBER VALIDATION RANGE |
From 1 April 2026, the valid range of IRD numbers expands from 150,000 to 200,000. |
