Makes Cents Newsletter November 2023

 

Things are starting to fall into place as we head into the chaos before Christmas & New Year Holidays.

We have sourced a new building and are in the process of working with builders & other trades to get it fitted out how we want it.  We are still going to be in Main Street Upper Hutt with plenty of parking around.  Hopefully we will return after the holidays into our new location in January, but more on that later when we have some timeframes.

Office Closed from 11:30am Tuesday 14th November 2023

The office will close at 11.30am next Tuesday 14 November 2023 as the whole team are heading into the Xero Roadshow in Wellington.  There we will learn some updates from Xero and meet up with some of our existing suppliers, and probably some new ones that will help all our businesses move forward and make our life a little bit easier.  We will be back as normal at 9.30am on Wednesday.

 

                                                 Workload - Get your work in

We are ploughing through the work and trying to get as much done as we can between sorting buildings and the mayhem that is about to start called the silly season.  We have huge targets that we have set ourselves to complete a lot of work over the next 6 weeks.  So, if you haven’t got your work in yet start getting the information we need sorted before Inland Revenue start sending out their reminder letters.

Makes Cents Team Christmas Function - 17 November 2023

We are going early this year because last year we were late thanks to Covid in the Team and ended up having the Team Christmas in January.  So, the office will be closed on Friday 17 November 2023 as we are off to the races.  We are having Christmas at the Races at Trentham that day and already the couriers are doing a roaring trade as outfits come and go!  Make sure you have liked us on Facebook so you can see the photos of the team all glammed up for race day and the fun we will have.
