MYOB Payroll is Discontinuing After 1 April 2026 |
MYOB Payroll, the desktop product, will be discontinued on 1 April 2026, meaning it will no longer receive updates, compliance support, or assistance from MYOB, and may not function properly on future Windows systems. While users will retain access to historical data, MYOB is shifting focus to its MYOB Business Payroll platform. If you would like to discuss alternative payroll options, we are happy to provide recommendations, just give us a call. |

IRD manages a substantial amount of unclaimed funds (over $477 million as of March 31, 2024) stemming from various sources such as dormant bank accounts, unpaid wages, life insurance proceeds, and uncollected items. Search via myIR (for personal claims):
- Log in to your myIR account.
- Navigate to 'I want to...' > 'Registration, application and enrolment' > 'Apply for unclaimed money'.

The system will suggest potential matches; you can select and apply directly.
- Search via the IRD website (for others or without myIR):
- Use the IRD's unclaimed money database to search for yourself, someone else, or an entity.

Provide identifying details and relevant evidence, such as past addresses, old statements, or a copy of a will.
- Claiming Process:
- Attach supporting documents to substantiate your claim.

Most claims are processed within 10–12 weeks; however, delays may occur during high-demand periods.
